Once the original Mercantile,
Shades of Africa has been transformed into a tented Sahara Safari
feel amid murals of African Grassland painted by local artist,
Laura Beamesderfer.
Room colors include
a neutral palette accented with black, gold and red clay. The
only guest room located on the main floor, Shades of Africa maintains
a very private feel. The double Jacuzzi, situated in a tiled
corner of the bedroom facing the fireplace, is in addition to
the large private bath. The gas fireplace is surrounded by a
mix of antique, leather and Safari-style furniture pieces.
